Zlorp Life

This is a C# Unity game made in under 3 days with 3 other students as a part of Themed game jam; PegJam2025. The theme we had to work with was unconventional weapon, so I proposed the most unconventional weapon of all, your own limbs!

Controls:

  • WASD to move around
  • HOLD left click to attack
  • Attacking decreases your health
  • Killing enemies drops (green) health pickups
  • Your current health is the amount of little balls inside of you

Shown here you can see when attacking, you lose 1 health (signified by the orbs inside the player) and once you have killed the enemy they will drop health pickups to compensate for the lost health.

My role in this project:

I took the role of project manager and programmer. The entire dialogue system was created from scratch during the game jam by myself. I also was responsible for UI creation layout and Scene/Game state management. Which I had implemented a global service manager style singleton.

My responsibilities included:

  • Project Management & Coordination
  • Creating the dialogue system (from scratch)
  • Teaching git and GitHub to new members
  • Ensuring everyone is comfortable!
